Summary

A higher education establishment (Ukraine) offers a technology of nanomaterials creation with use of templates, which form a structure with preselected type of elements ordering, and can be used in nanoelectronics and alternative energy sources. The technology allows creating templates with necessary characteristics using standard equipment, it is efficient and environmentally friendly. The company is looking for investors and partners to launch joint production of high efficiency solar cells.

Description

It is proposed the technology of creation of two-dimensional superlattice whith consists from ordered nanoclusters on the surface of photoconductivity layer. In the lattice using multipath interference spatially periodic or quasi-periodic structures of light fields are created, hologram is recorded and is converted into the relevant structural distribution of matter.

The hologram is recorded on the surface of an electrically charged photoconductive layer. Spatially modulated electric charge is formed on the surface of the layer and then ionized nanoparticles of material of superlattice are inflicted on that surface.

The characteristic spatial dimensions of the prevailing structures are submicron range, the template elements from noble metals have a height of 50 nm and a spatial period of 100-150 nm.

An important advantage of templates is that the topology of the location of charges near the surface of the templates is directly used for organize matter on its surface without forming masks, does not require the use of aggressive media, wet processing and following drying , in which deformation of the templates occurs.

The technology can be used primarily for manufacturing components and units in nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, alternative energy sources and in designing optical measuring devices.

The technology owner has many years experience in the research field of nano-technology and molecular electronics and the creation of functional elements. This is confirmed by 2 patents, several monographs, 20 articles.

Advantages and Innovations

The technology allows the use of standard equipment to create templates with variable regularity and selected characteristics of individual nanostructures.

Technological process occurs without the formation of masks that do not require the use of aggressive media, wet processing, prevents deformation of the template.
