Description |
The university department of virology is the acknowledged expert in monitoring and diagnostics of viruses of agricultural cultures and epidemiology of viruses. Diagnostics of virus infections in plant production can be conducted by serological methods (by enzyme immunoassay) or molecular methods (by polymerase chain reaction). Diagnostics of viruses can be conducted in vegetable material, soil/substrate, and seed material. Diagnostics of seed material in our lab will save your time and valuable relationships with your partners. The university is interested in establishing long term cooperation with potential partners (manufacturers of agricultural products and ornamental crops, service of quarantine and plant protection, hothouse farms) in a form of subcontracting services and of long-term technical cooperation. |
